Charlie Gallop Commits to St. Lawrence Univ.
Date Posted: 12/5/2014
Connecticut Valley's Charlie Gallop has recently verbally committed to continue his education and lacrosse Career at Division III, St. Lawrence University. Charlie becomes Connecticut Valley's 7th committment from the Class of 2015; Charlie also considered Lynchburg College and Ohio Wesleyan University before ultimately choosing to pursue the Upstate New York institution. As a member of Connecticut Valley Lacrosse Charlie contributed for two seasons as an LSM and Close Defender.
This past Fall marked Charlie's second season with Connecticut Valley Lacrosse and he proved to be a very valuable asset to our U18 Blue team's success. Charlie is athletic, dynamic, and very fast putting together some very useful qualities for his position. As an LSM and Close Defender Charlie played very well in each of our Fall contests making his presence known and doing a tremendous job pushing the ball up field. Charlie throughout the Fall never once allowed the frigid conditions affect his focus, goals, and his level of play. At the college level, Charlie should be a huge asset on the field for SLU and we absolutely believe it is an excellent fit. We are very excited to see what Charlie can do at the next level.
Please join us in congratulating Charlie on this achievement and wishing him success as he enters his final season at The Gunnery School in Washington Depot, Connecticut. Congratulations Charlie!
