Luke Meaney Commits!

Date Posted: 9/20/2015

Connecticut Valley's Luke Meaney has committed to continue his education and lacrosse career at NCAA, Division III, Ursinus College. Luke has been a member of Connecticut Valley's lacrosse program for the past 2 years competing first with our U17 group in 2014 and then making the jump to our top team, U18 Blue, for the 2015 summer. Luke is our first commitment for the Class of 2016.

Luke is one of the hardest working players to come through the Connecticut Valley Lacrosse program. In 2014, Luke was still relatively new the game, but pushed himself and took advantage of each opportunity to get better day in and day out. Luke's biggest asset was his determination to improve not only as an individual player, but as a teammate as well. As a member of our U17 group in 2014 Luke led the charge by pushing each team member to play harder, be stronger and to never quit. That character trait is something Luke brought with him as he advanced on to compete with our U18 Blue squad this past Summer Season (2015). The Avon High School Varsity stand-out was crucial to the U18 Blue team's successes not only in each victory, but in certain scenarios on the field that greatly affected the outcome of each game.

Please join us in congratulating Luke on his accomplishments thus far, his commitment to Ursinus, and to a strong Senior campaign this coming Spring (2016). Congrats, Luke!
