2018 Summer Lacrosse Preview

The 2018 Summer Lacrosse Season is fast approaching and we couldn't be more excited for the level of talent on each of our teams this Summer or for the consistent warm weather to arrive. Below, you can find brief previews on each of our teams as well as a breakdown of remaining open spots on each roster. 2019 Team
Head Coach: Matthew Ramsay
Assistant Coach: Ron Chase
Our 2019 Team is compiled of players from various schools and towns. The following schools are represented on this roster; Bacon Academy (CT), Lyman Hall High School (CT), Avon High School (CT), Fitch High School (CT), Xavier High School (CT), Berlin High School (CT), Westfield High School (MA), Minnechaug High School (MA), Southington High School (CT), Simsbury High School (CT), Ellington High School (CT), Tilton School (NH), Avon Old Farms School (CT), St. Bernard's High School (CT), St. Paul's Catholic High School (CT), and RHAM High School (CT). This group may come from many different backgrounds where they are exposed to a different levels of competition and coaching styles each spring, but we fully anticipate a big Summer out of the team. Each player will contribute as we push towards succesful tournament showings and most importantly, striving to increase the recruiting opportunities for all members of the team. It's too early to tell where this team will excel most, but we do know that this team has all the pieces to put together a great summer campaign. The Summer Season officially kicks off for this group on Sunday, June 10.

2020 Team
Head Coach: Justin Bard

Our 2020 Team is also compiled of players from various schools and towns, but many of them have been teammates in previous off-seasons for many years. The following schools are represented on this roster; Cheshire Academy (CT), Westminster School (CT), Westfield High School (MA), Xavier High School (CT), East Longmeadow High School (MA), Avon Old Farms School (CT), St. Paul's School (NH), Minnechaug High School (MA), Hamden High School (CT), Williston-Northampto School (MA), Amity Regional High School (CT), Glastonbury High School (CT), and Longmeadow High School (MA). The coaches of this squad are thrilled to be working with this squad of talented players and the anticipation of a strong summer is growing each day as we inch towards the start of the season. With many of these athletes having competed alongside one another before the chemistry level of this group should propel them towards not only succesful tournament showings, but many recruiting opportunities present at each event. Size, speed, and tenacity are all factors that will contribute to this team doing well and pushing each other to be at their best along the way. This team officially kicks off the Summer Season on Sunday, June 10.

2019/2020 Team

With players hailing from Hall High School (CT), Bacon Academy (CT), Glastonbury High School (CT), Sheehan High School (CT), East Catholic High School (CT), E.O. Smith High School (CT), Conard High School (CT), Belchertown High School (MA), Northwest Catholic High School (CT), Ellington High School (CT), Xavier High School (CT), Williston-Northampton School (MA), Berlin High School (CT), Cheshire Academy (CT), Nonnewaug High School (CT), and Rocky Hill High School (CT) this squad proves to have a great mix of talent which we cannot wait to see in action. Those who are member of this team demonstrated grit, tenacity, and determination when they stepped on the field at tryouts (and in the Fall) and we fully believe those attributes will carry over at the start of the Summer Season on June 10. We look forward to this team making some noise in each of their tournaments, improving individually, and coming together as a team. The variety of lacrosse backgrounds will without a doubt give these guys the ability to push each other through each moment they spend on the field in a Connecticut Valley uniform.

2021 Team

Our 2021 Group is ready to battle this Summer with a lot of Varsity experience on this roster; we are excited to see this group take the field and see how well they mesh as a team. Our 2021 Team has players hailing from Westfield High School (MA), Glastonbury High School (CT), Lyman Hall High School (CT), Simsbury High School (CT), East Catholic High School (CT), Northwest Catholic High School (CT), Belchertown High School (MA), Farmington High School (CT), Southington High School (CT), Salisbury School (CT), and Fitch High School (CT). The level of talent on this squad is high and we are hopeful they continue to leave it all on the field this Summer just as they did at tryouts in late 2017. This group will kick off their Summer Season on June 9!

2022/2023 Team

Our youngest group is ready to hit the ground running and kicks off their first practice on 06/12/2018. The team is comprised of players from Western Massachusetts and Central Connecticut representing towns such as Southington (CT), Westfield (MA), Simsbury (CT), West Hartford (CT), Longmeadow (MA), and Farmington (CT). We are excited to see this group grow throughout the Summer and our Coaches cannot wait to work with each of them. It's going to be an excellent Summer!
