Joe McDonough Commits to CSU-Pueblo!

Date Posted: 11/18/2014

Connecticut Valley's Joe McDonough has recently committed to continue his education and lacrosse career at NCAA Division II newcomer, Colorado State University at Pueblo! Joe is the first Connecticut Valley player to commit to a school west of the Mississippi River and the fifth commitment from the Class of 2015. Joe recently completed his second season with Connecticut Valley Lacrosse.

Joe is a strong, fast and play making midfielder hailing from The Gunnery School in Washington Depot, Connecticut. Joe's biggest attributes to his game is his ability to dodge to the cage hard and his strong outside shooting presence. Numerous times through the Fall 2013 and Fall 2014 Seasons he found the back of the net assisting the team to many victories. At the midfield, we relied heavily on Joe to boost the offense and he gladly obliged understanding each situation and reading the opposing teams defense well. Joe, without a doubt, is a valuable asset at the midfield to many programs and contributed greatly to ours.

Joe is entering his Senior Season at The Gunnery School we anticipate to see the stat sheet filled up with his name as he continues to adjust, respond well to coaching, and fine tune his skill set. We strongly believe Joe will succeed both on and off the field and continue to be a big contributor as a member of the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves Men's Lacrosse Team. Please join us in congratulating Joe on his commitment and his future successes, Congrats Joe!
