Bray O'Connor Chooses Oklahoma!

Date Posted: 4/6/2015

Connecticut Valley's, Bray O'Connor, has recently committed to continue his education and lacrosse career at MCLA Division I, University of Oklahoma. Bray was an excellent addition to our U18 squad during the 2014 Summer adding depth at attack and providing great balance to a talented unit. As a player, Bray worked tirelessly to put himself in the right position on the field, was a student of the game, and was tenacious in every game scenario racking up many points in each of the U18's 2014 Summer games.

From the start of Summer Bray was incredibly focused on his academic goals knowing exactly what he wished to study in college, focusing strongly on each of his options across the country, and understanding that his college decision should weigh heavy on academics before jumping at the opportunity to play lacrosse at a school that does not have a major that closely related to his career goals. We are incredibly proud that Bray made this decision and grateful to have had him as a member of our squad; he received a variety of interest from many schools, but ultimately chose the schools that offers him the opportunity at a great education while also competing on the lacrosse field for the MCLA level team.

This Spring, Bray will suit up for his Senior Season at Avon Old Farms as a member of the attack unit. Bray's hard work and tenacity will without a doubt follow him to the field this Spring and lead him to an excellent Senior campaign. Please join us in congratulating Bray on his accomplishment!
