  • Players are walked through the entire process, receive entry into our recruiting guidebook (sent to every college coach and prep coaches by request), and are placed in the best position to be recruited by the carefully selected tournaments we attend.
  • For further, more in depth inquiries regarding Recruiting Assistance please e-mail us at ConnecticutValley@gmail.com.

How are teams divided and selected?

  • Teams are divided based upon graduation year and players are selected following an evaluation process at one of our tryout sessions. Beginning in 2016, Connecticut Valley Lacrosse will be making the switch to teams aligned by graduation year to correlate better with recruiting and tournament divisions.
  • Any player who competes at the tryout is welcome to inquire on personal feedback noted by the Coaching Staff at the event. Our Coaches will be honest, up front, and provide valuable feedback to help the player better understand their decision, what areas they can work on for improvement, and what the player's current strengths may be.

When are tryouts held?

  • Tryouts will be held in Mid/Late August. We typically will also hold a second tryout in Early Fall or Early Winter on an as needed basis.
